The RETAINCHOOSE option is missing from the generated non-destructive diagnose batch code.
The DIAGNOSE_NON_DESTRUCTIVE_PROJECT code file contains the SAS code to rediagnose the project and includes PROC HPFDIAGNOSE statements for each level in the project that is not destructive. These statements use the INEST option of the HPFDIAGNOSE procedure to preserve all customizations that are created by user-defined models.
There is no recommended way to modify the generated non-destructive diagnose code to retain a custom model selection.
