Problem Note 32544: The Lookup transformation exception table might contain incorrect lookup table name values
The exception table generated by the Lookup transformation will contain temporary table names instead of the actual lookup table names in the following situations:
- A where
clause has been defined in the Where tab within the Lookup Properties window.
- Multiple tables being processed contain identical column names. This triggers automatic column renaming to prevent the generation of unexpected results.
Both conditions result in the creation of one or more temporary views that reference the underlying lookup tables. Any exception records that involve lookup tables referenced via these temporary views will contain the temporary view name in the etls_lookup_table column in the exception table instead of the actual lookup table name.
