Problem Note 32406: Outer joins that contain a WHERE clause with the STRIP() and PUT() functions cause abnormal endings
Full and right outer joins that contain a WHERE clause with the STRIP() and PUT() functions cause the application to end abnormally when you work with database management system (DBMS) tables. Segmentation violations or Read-access violations might indicate an abnormal ending. This problem does not occur when you perform left outer joins.
Queries similar to the following example can cause this problem:
proc sql;
select ...SELECT-statement-options. . .
from access.table1
left join access.table2
on table1.id = table2.id
where (strip(put(table2.var2,8.))) = '123';

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Performing outer joins that contain a WHERE clause with the STRIP() and PUT() functions cause abnormal endings. This problem occurs only when you work with database management system (DBMS) tables.
