Problem Note 32296: Jobs fail when scheduled via Windows OS Scheduler

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Jobs scheduled to the OS Scheduler via Schedule Manager in SAS® Management Console might fail due to double quotes embedded in the SAS startup command that is scheduled. In particular, the –LOGPARM "ROLLOVER=SESSION" string is set when you define the OS Scheduler server, and when the OS START command is built with quotes around the path to the SAS executable, these additional quotes in the command cause START to fail.

Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Until you install the hot fix, a workaround is to remove the quotes from the –LOGPARM option string in the OS Scheduler definition under Server Manager in SAS Management Console.  Expand the Server Manager tree, locate the OS Scheduler server, then right-mouse click on it, and select PropertiesOptions. In the Command string under Launch Commands, remove the double quotes from the –LOGPARM option as described above, then click OK.
