When report categories that contain DBCS characters are exported to Microsoft Excel, the exported categories do not contain the correct characters. The Report Categories table in the SAS^® Warranty Analysis Client includes an Export Table to Spreadsheet... option in the Context menu. If the Report Categories are exported in "XLS - Microsoft Excel Format", any DBCS characters in the Report Categrory will not be exported correctly.

As a workaround, export Report Categories table in CSV format.

A fix is planned for a future software release.

In the SWA client, in the Report Categories pane under Workspaces -> Administration, the menu includes an Export to Spreadsheet item. If the Report Categories are exported in Excel format, any DBCS characters in the Report Categrory will not be exported correctly.
