Problem Note 32262: Possible performance problems or credential prompting when browsing for a save location in Copy to SAS Server window
You might experience a long delay or be prompted for credentials when you select the Browse button to browse for a save location in the Copy to SAS Server window of the SAS® Add-in for Microsoft Office.
When you select the Browse button in this window, the code must first assign all of the libraries that are defined in metadata in order to determine which libraries are read-only. In doing so, a large number of libraries defined in metadata could cause a delay before the Save SAS Data Source window is displayed. Also, if your library contains a prompt, you will be prompted for the credentials when the code attempts to define that library.
Currently there is no circumvention for this issue. You must wait and, if necessary, fill in the prompts in order to continue saving.
