Referencing a data set that is sorted with a BY statement (but the sort is not validated) may produce messages like the following:

   ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set libref.member.

or:

   ERROR: Data set libref.member is not sorted in ascending sequence.

This problem is caused by incorrect sharing of sort spill files by multiple threads, and is corrected in SPD Server Release 4.4 TS M5.
