The SAS 9.1.3 Installation Qualification tool fails for the tcpdeam.dll, tcpdencr.dll, sasvft95.dll, and sasperf.dll files after SAS^® 9.2 software is installed. However, the SAS 9.2 Installation Qualification test completes without failures.

This issue is expected. It occurs because these files are installed in the same location, regardless of the release of SAS that you are installing. The tcpdeam.dll and tcpdencr.dll files are installed in \shared files\secure\. The sasvft95.dll file is installed in \shared files\general\. The sasperf.dll file is installed in a Windows system directory (for example, c:\windows\system32\).

SAS 9.2 writes its version of these four files to the same locations, thereby overwriting the corresponding 9.1.3 files.

Currently, there is no solution for this problem.
