Problem Note 32678: Sort order for numeric variables in Interactive Grouping and Interactive Binning nodes may cause groupings that cannot be performed
In the Interactive Grouping and Interactive Binning nodes in SAS® Enterprise Miner™, the sorting method in the Fine Detail tab of the interactive training window is incorrect. A variable that has values 1 through 10 will appear as:
1, 10, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
instead of
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Because of this issue:
- The ordinal variables cannot be grouped correctly.
- The ordered variables cannot be merged.
