Usage Note 32530: Setting the size of your pagefile on the Windows operating systems
When working with Microsoft Windows, you might need to modify the pagefile in your performance settings.
Microsoft has a Knowledge Base article that discusses this and makes recommendations about how to set this up. For additional information, go to the Microsoft KB Article ID:555223, RAM, Virtual Memory, Pagefile and all that stuff.
The typical recommendation is to set the pagefile to 1.5 times the amount of RAM in the computer.
Additional information is available on Wikipedia at Pagefile.
