Problem Note 32401: Performance problems occur when running the SAS® Information Delivery Portal

When using SAS Information Delivery Portal, you might experience poor performance in the following areas (among others):
- logging on
- navigating through pages
- searching
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue. The hot fix includes a number of fixes that reduce the workload on the metadata server and reduce the amount of garbage collection on the middle tier. All deployments will benefit from the fixes; however, the performance improvement will be most noticeable under the following circumstances:
- heavily loaded systems (both metadata server and middle tier)
- deployments with a large number of portal users
- deployments with large amounts of metadata
- deployments where a large number of ACEs are used to secure content
For the best performance, also apply the metadata server hot fix in SAS Note 32112.
