Problem Note 32246: A scheduled SAS® Marketing Automation campaign never completes

It is possible in SAS Campaign Studio to add Select nodes into a flow without using an And node.
This, however, might cause the campaign to loop infinitely and never complete. If you think this is occurring because a campaign is taking much longer to complete when scheduled, then you need to stop it. The only way to do this effectively is to:
- Stop the scheduled campaign in the scheduler flow administrator.
- Restart the SAS Marketing Automation middle tier, both in the Webserver and SAS Remote Services.
- This might still leave queries running on the database. These either complete themselves or you may wish to ask your database administrator to identify and stop them.
You can get the same results without causing the system to loop by redrawing your diagram to use the explicit and functionality by adding a Cell node after the Select node and connecting it to the flow using an And node (with Meets all criteria selected).
