Problem Note 32133: Errors might occur when displaying SAS Report result format type in SASĀ® Enterprise Guide
Errors might be generated when displaying output in SAS Enterprise Guide using the SAS Report result format type. The error message might be similar to the following.

The problem will most likely occur when the data contains hexadecimal or other non-printable or garbage data.
To circumvent the problem, use HTML, PDF, or RTF as the result format type instead of SAS Report.
Alternatively, edit the data and remove the offending hexadecimal or garbage characters before running a task. In some cases, a SAS program can be used to clean the data more efficiently.
