Problem Note 31863: Using the EQT operator in the SQL procedure incorrectly classifies rows with missing values as a match
When you use the EQT operator in an SQL procedure's SELECT clause, the software incorrectly considers rows with missing values to be a match for rows whose values begin with the value that is used in the comparison.
For example, if you run a query with the following SELECT clause, the software will flag not only those rows that start with the value
yes but also any rows where there is no value:
select x eqt "yes"
