Problem Note 31695: The metadata repository becomes extremely large when you use SAS® IT Resource Management 3.1.1, which increases memory requirements
SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1 uses the metadata repository extensively, which can cause the size of the repository
and memory requirements to increase.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
The hot fix reduces the metadata memory footprint by distributing XML that represents the template
tables and columns that were once stored in the SAS® Metadata Server.
It is difficult to predict how effective the results of this fix will be, as it relates to performance improvement, because many other factors will affect the outcome. These factors include the release of the operating system, machine capacity and configuration, and usage pattern.
