Problem Note 31661: Using the TKOPT_CPOOL3= threaded-kernel environment variable causes large amounts of memory to be used

A hot fix for SAS 9.1.3 SP4 is available that might reduce the amount of memory that is used by the SAS® Metadata Server.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access this hot fix.
If you apply this hot fix, you must ensure that the following statement appears in a physical file that is allocated to the TKMVSENV DDname.set TKOPT_CPOOL3=
Alternatively, sites can remove this environment variable from the TKMVSENV file for the SAS Metadata Server if they have memory-related problems in the server. However, be aware that removing this environment variable can result in slower performance of the SAS Metadata Server.
