Problem Note 31414: SAS® Enterprise Guide might not correctly import .xls files that are generated using PROC IMPORT
The Import Data task in SAS Enterprise Guide might fail to correctly import an Excel file that was generated using PROC EXPORT. In some cases the column header or data values might be incorrect. To try and circumvent the problem, use the Query Builder in SAS Enterprise Guide to run a dummy query to see if the resulting SAS table will include the correct column and data values.
