Problem Note 31302: You might receive an error when running an optimization in SAS® Marketing Optimization

If you create a scenario and use an objective measure to optimize it in SAS Marketing Optimization, the scenario might fail.
You might see an error similar to the following in the SAS Marketing Optimization log:
ERROR: The ID value "COMMUNICATION_MEASURE_LONG_NAME1" occurs twice in the input data set. Where "Communication_Measure_LONG_Name1" is the name of your field in your communication table. WARNING: The data set WORK.COMMNUMFIELDS_TRANS may be incomplete. When this step was stopped there were 0 observations and 0 variables.
This error occurs because the field name is longer than 32 characters.
The workaround is to change your calculated measure names to something shorter.
