Problem Note 31179: Hot Fix E9OC10 for Oracle timestamp support might cause performance degradation

Applying the Hot Fix E90C10 for Oracle timestamp support might cause performance degradation. This degradation occurs when your query contains a date comparison with a date constant. Instead of using the Oracle TO_DATE function as was done previously, SAS^® software now uses Oracle's TO_TIMESTAMP function in the query for the date constant. As a result, Oracle might take longer to run the query.
