Usage Note 31701: Target server choice is missing when importing job flows
If you use the Export and Import Wizards to move a job flow during
a partial promotion, the job flow must be associated with the same server
type on both machines.
For example, if you export a job flow that is associated with a Job Scheduler
server and then attempt to import the job flow that only has a Process
Manager server, the serverType will be listed as unKnown and the target
server will not be listed. Partial promotion requires that the same
server be used on both machines.
The job flow can be moved if you define a Process Manager server and
associate the job flow with the new server. To change the scheduling
server associated with the job flow, open the SAS® Management Console, open
Schedule Manager, choose the properties for the job flow, and open the Dependencies
tab. The scheduling server can then be changed to the new Process Manager
server.
