Problem Note 31607: Using the BY statement with the formatted ODS destinations can generate incorrect output
When generating output with the formatted ODS destinations such as HTML, RTF and PDF, incorrect output can be generated when using a BY statement along with a WHERE statement within a SAS procedure or DATA step. This occurs more frequently with PROC PRINT when using the formatted ODS destinations. When the problem occurs, the output in the listing is correct; however, the output generated with the formatted destinations will have BY-group values placed in an incorrect BY group.
This is related to a problem with the BY statement described in SAS Note 17981, which includes a hotfix for this problem.
