Problem Note 31361: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to OLE DB does not pass the complete SQL code to the database for inner and outer joins

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS/ACCESS Interface to OLE DB, when you submit a LIBNAME statement to access SQL Server 2005 and you have SAS SQL statements that contain inner and outer joins, not all of the SQL for those joins is passed to the database for processing.

The database tables are read into SAS in order to process the joins. This process can impact performance when you are working with very large database tables.
