Problem Note 31295: If Diskeeper software and SAS® software are both running on your machine, you might receive file authorization errors
If you have Diskeeper and SAS running on your machine, Diskeeper might generate the following errors:
ERROR: Rename of temporary member for WORK.TEMP.DATA failed.
ERROR: User does not have appropriate authorization level
for file WORK.TEMP.DATA.
ERROR: File WORK.TEMP.DATA does not exist.
SAS has a software conflict with Diskeeper software, which generates errors regarding SAS data file access.
The errors occur because SAS software is not able to locate, read, write, or rename data files if they
are being moved or accessed by Diskeeper.
To correct this problem, ensure that you are running Diskeeper 2008 12.0.781,
which is the certified version that addresses this problem.
If you are running an earlier version, open Diskeeper and select Check for Updates to install version 12.0.781.
As a last resort, you can disable the Diskeeper program when running SAS sessions or just uninstall it.
