Problem Note 30966: The multi-select node, or another node upstream from it, has failed to execute successfully when using the LIKE operator

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When using the LIKE operators in a SAS® Campaign Studio multi-select node on a character field with no metadata, your SAS® Marketing Automation might fail with the following error:

The MAIQService Execute Count Error generating physical Query
Error Executing query, The multi-select node, or another node upstream from it
has failed to execute successfully.
error in services.log

For example if you include the line:

Postal Area LIKE A*

in a multi-select node and then feed that node into a node with a cell node, when you update counts in SAS Campaign Studio you will see this error.

Services.log will show something similar to:

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS,xxx [ERROR]
ategies.sas.oma.relational.SQLGeneration - The object Type ="Filter", Label="",
ID="xxxxxxxx" is not contained in the business model that created it.
