Problem Note 30775: java.rmi.ServerException, and RemoteException occurred errors appear when you start SAS® Enterprise Miner(tm) from SAS® Analytics Platform server

If you start SAS Enterprise Miner by connecting through SAS Analytics Platform Server, the logon might fail with error messages similar to these:
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.rmi.UnmarshalException: invalid method hash at sun.rmi.server.UnicastServerRef.dispatch(UnicastServerRef.java:292)
The problem occurs when SAS Enterprise Miner and SAS Analytics Platform 1.4 and SAS® Model Manager 2.1 are installed. The problem might occur when these products are installed either on a single machine, or in a multi-tier environment where SAS Analytics Platform 1.4 is shared between the products. The problem can occur even with SAS Model Manager hot fix 21MODELMGR01 applied.
