Problem Note 30751: "'c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\LIBRARY\SAS Financial Management Functions.xla' could not be found"
If you are working with a SAS® Financial Management report, you may receive the error message:
'c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICExx\LIBRARY\SAS Financial Management Functions.xla' could not be found.
The problem has been reported when SAS Financial Management is installed on a non-English Windows operating system, and is most often encountered when a SAS Financial Management report is created in one language version of the operating system but then used in a different language version.
It might also occur if a SAS Financial Management report is created in one version of the operating system, such as Windows 2000 but then used in a different version of the operating system, such as Windows 2003.
To work around the problem, search for the <SAS FinancialManagementFunctions.xla> file
and save it in the location shown in the error message (on each client machine that is utilizing the SAS Financial Management Add-in for Microsoft Excel).
If you are trying to open the report from your list of most recently used files on the Excel > File menu and encounter this error, check to see if the report file has been renamed, moved or deleted.
Please note that the default directory path for this file ill be similar to the above, except that the local language translation for the "Program Files" and "Library" directories might substituted.
As an example, the directory on a German Windows environment might be:
C:\Programme\Microsoft Office\OFFICExx\Bibliothek\SAS Financial Management Functions.xla
But the directory on a German Windows environment with the regional settings set to English would be:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICExx\Library\SAS Financial Management Functions.xla
