Usage Note 30646: The SHEET= and RANGE= options are now available in the EXPORT procedure when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to PC Files 9.1.3 in the UNIX environment

SAS® 9.1.3, Service Pack 3 enables you to use the IMPORT and EXPORT procedures with the DBMS=XLS option in SAS/ACCESS Interface to PC Files in order to read from and write to Excel workbooks that reside locally under UNIX. You can also use the SHEET= option in PROC IMPORT in SAS 9.1.3. However, the option does not work in PROC EXPORT.

The hot fix enables you to deal with locally residing Excel workbooks by using the SHEET= option for the IMPORT and EXPORT procedures and the RANGE= option for PROC IMPORT only. These options enable you to read from and write to, respectively, specific spreadsheets and parts of spreadsheets.
