Problem Note 30495: Portfolio filters in SAS® Risk Dimensions® that have a WHERE clause which exceeds 256 characters might cause warning messages to display

If you create a portfolio filter in SAS Risk Dimensions in which the string length of the WHERE clause exceeds 256 characters, the following warning message might appear in the SAS log:
WARNING: The quoted string currently being processed has become more than 262 characters long.
You may have unbalanced quotation marks.
Further, it is possible that the filter might not be saved to the environment, and might be applied incorrectly to the portfolio data. The cause of this potential problem is the 256 character limit on the length of the WHERE clause string for portfolio filters.
Under no circumstances should you create a portfolio filter in which the character string for the WHERE clause exceeds 256 characters.
Note: Although the warning message states that the limit is 262 characters, the actual limit is 256 characters.
