Problem Note 30401: "Cannot process TableInfo service request: Could not get the table metadata from OMR."
If table metadata is added to and then deleted from SAS® Management Console, SAS Information Map Studio might fail with a row level security error:
Cannot process TableInfo service request:
Could not get the table metadata from OMR.
For example, define the LIBNAME 'TEST' in SAS Management Console that references the SASHELP directory, and import the CLASS dataset. In SAS Information Map Studio, create a map that references TEST.CLASS; and when the query is successful, save the map and close. Return to SAS Management Console, delete the CLASS table definition and then import it again. Return to SAS Information Map Studio and open the saved map. Re-submit the previously successful query by selecting 'View Query'. The query fails and the error
Cannot process TableInfo service request:
Could not get the table metadata from OMR
is generated.
This is a known issue and a fix is planned for a future release.
