Compared with single-byte character set (SBCS) and double-byte character set (DBCS) SAS 8.2 software, performance degradation occurs in DBCS SAS 9.1.3 software when you use the RLINK or the DLM= options in the FILENAME statement. These options might need longer CPU time in DBCS SAS 9.1.3.
