When the scheduling software launches a campaign or diagram, the job fails and you will see the following error in the log:
"ERROR 20 Unable to log onto application server"
When diagnosing this problem, if you check the user ID and domain in the command string being passed to the SAS Marketing Automation Launcher, you will see that it has a backslash missing.
Instead of reading [domain\userid]
, it will be read as [domainuserid]
. Because the UNIX operating system has removed the backslash, the login credentials will not be authenticated against the SAS Metadata Server Windows domain.
