Problem Note 30842: ForecastStudioSetup.bat gives "The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect" error
When you run the file
ForecastStudioSetup.bat from a Windows command prompt you might encounter the following error:
The filename, directory name, or volume
label syntax is incorrect.
This is caused by a corrupted line in the file. It will appear as follows:
"C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\JRE\1.4.2_09\bin\java"C:\Program
Files\SAS\Shared Files\JRE\1.4.2_09\bin\java.exe".exe" -Dcom.sas.analytics.forecasting.logon.rb=com.sas.analytics.forecasting.swing.fstudio.application.resources
-Dcom.sas.analytics.forecasting.logon.handler=com.sas.analytics.forecasting.swing.fstudio.application.LogOn
com.sas.analytics.forecasting.MetadataUtility setup %1 %2 %3
The following text:
"C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\JRE\1.4.2_09\bin\java"C:\Program
Files\SAS\Shared Files\JRE\1.4.2_09\bin\java.exe".exe"
needs to be manually rewritten as:
"C:\Program Files\SAS\Shared Files\JRE\1.4.2_09\bin\java.exe"
After editing this line, save and re-run the file.
