Problem Note 30578: Stored process might not be refreshable in the SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office after moving the location of the stored process
In 2.1 of the SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office, if you copy or move the location of the stored process, you might receive the following error when you try to refresh the results:
The stored process "name" was not found in the repository. Verify that the
stored process still exists, and you have permission to execute it.
This can happen even if you export the stored process from SAS® Management Console, and then re-import on the second machine. It might also happen if you copy or move a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, Microsoft Word document, or Microsoft Powerpoint presentation that contains SAS content created by a stored process. The problem is a result of the internal code searching for the specific stored process ID rather than for the name.
The circumvention is to re-create the SAS content in the spreadsheet, document, or presentation by deleting the old stored SAS process content, and running the stored process again from scratch.
This should not be an issue in subsequent major releases because the internal code for running stored processes has changed.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
