After installing hot fix e9bb38, existing OLAP cubes might fail to present data to SAS^® Enterprise Guide^®, which might return the following error message:

"Could not open OLAP cube. An error occurred opening 
 cube "<cube name>(Foundation)". The object invoked has 
 disconnected from its clients"

Cube creation from SAS^® OLAP Cube Studio might still work fine, but you might not be able to access an OLAP cube after creation. The OLAP cube might also fail to open in SAS^® Web Report Studio and SAS^® Information Map Studio.

This behavior has been noticed when the tkolutl.dll file, or other files, have not copied correctly or have become damaged or corrupted. To work around this problem, you might want to first confirm that the hot fix was successfully applied by doing the following:

Go to Start > Programs > SAS > SAS 9.1 Utilities > SAS Installation Qualification Tool

Run the SAS Installation Qualification Tool and review the sasiq.pdf report for the hotfix.

In some cases, it will be necessary to reinstall the hot fix in order to correct the problem.
