Problem Note 30441: SAS® Campaign Studio Export produces incorrect results when a refine node is used
When you use the Refine Export functionality in SAS Campaign Studio, communications refining on certain combinations of upstream nodes might result in SAS® Marketing Automation generating an error in the macore log and the communication failing.
For example, note what happens in a scenario using two subject levels - HH and Customers:
- Select node selecting all customers
- Node 1 connected to Map node to HH subject level with Refine set to Households with Many customers
- Node 2 connected to Limit node selecting 100 HH
- Node 2 connected to Cell node (HH level)
- Node 2 connected to Map node to customer level with refine set to 1 customer per HH and Sorted by Lifetime Revenue descending. (want to select the "Best" customer).
- Cell in node 4 connected to Communication with export that has HHID, CustomerID, Lifetime Revenue. No refinement specified.
- Cell in Node 4 connected to Communication with export with HHID, CustomerID, Lifetime Revenue. Refine selected with Map 2 best customer (Node 5 specified).
- Save and execute Campaign.
This scenario can generate the following kinds of errors:
(receive error:2007-02-26 18:50:01,640 [INFO ] SAS Demo User
analytics.crm.flow.ejb.FlowPostProcessor - Begin update after async execution
