Usage Note 24482: Is there a way to rerun a task or query in SAS® Enterprise Guide® using a different input table that has the same layout and column names as the original table without rebuilding the task or query?
For tables that are linked to a task, right-click the table icon in the Project View or Process Flow View and select Properties. Select Change to select the table that has the same column names and layout as the original table for which you want to use as input into the associated task. Rerun the task to generate the results based on the new table.
For tables that are linked to a query, open the query from the Project View or Process Flow View, then click the Tables tab. Right-click the table icon and select Change Table Location. Select the table that has the same column names and layout as the original table for which you want to use as input into the query. Rerun the query to generate the results based on the new table.
