Usage Note 24411: The Platform Computing Job Scheduler 5.31 does not honor the SAS® issued product license GRACE= and WARN= periods
The IBM Platform Job Scheduler 5.31 that is used with SAS 9.1.3 and before does not honor the GRACE= and WARN= options in the SAS issued license file. However, to compensate for this situation, the expiration date in the license file that SAS generates for the Platform Computing Job Scheduler server and its corresponding Platform LSF software is set for an additional 90 days beyond the associated SAS software license.
Platform Suite for SAS
® software issued from version 2.1 onward (starting with Platform Process Manager 3.0 and Platform LSF 6.0 and generally for versions of SAS software after 9.1.3) all honor the GRACE= and WARN= license options. Therefore, the expiration dates in these license files match their corresponding SAS software license expiration dates.
