Usage Note 24347: Controlling the number of clusters created by the cluster node
By default, the cluster node in SAS
® Enterprise Miner
™ automatically selects 10 clusters. You can choose a different value.
In the SAS Enterprise Miner 4.x series, click the Selection Criterion button on the Clusters tab to open a dialog box in which you can change the way the tool automatically determines the number of clusters. To explicitly set a value, select the User Specify radio button on the Clusters tab, and enter the desired integer value in order to override automatic selection.
In the SAS Enteprise Miner 5.x series, use the property Maximum Number of Clusters. To explicitly set the value, set the property Specification Method to User Specify, and then set the property Maximum Number of Clusters to the desired value.
