Usage Note 23603: Why do I get an invalid credentials error when I try to test my metadata connection to the spawner?

As part of the process of installing the portal, you use the Metadata Server Connection utility to set up a metadata configuration file for the spawner. After entering all of the information, click the Test button to check the connection.
If you receive the message ERROR: Invalid credentials, then do the following:
- In the utility, verify that you correctly entered the user ID and password for the SAS Trusted user.
You must enter exactly the same user ID and password that you specified for this user when you ran the install program. If you do not remember the user ID that you specified, then refer to the
$SERVICES_OMI_USER_ID$property in theinstall.propertiesfile, which is located in thePortalConfiguresubdirectory of the setup directory.On Windows operating systems, you must include the machine or domain name with the user ID.
On the operating system, verify that the SAS Trusted User has the user right
Log on as a Batch Job.
