Usage Note 23457: How can I change the default location where ODS stores unqualified files?
If you specify only a filename and not a pathname, then the
filename is unqualified.
When you specify unqualified files,
SAS 8.2 ODS output is stored by default in c:\winnt\profiles\user-ID\Personal\My SAS Files\V8
on the Windows NT platform.
You can change the default pathname
by specifying the -SASINITIALFOLDER option either at
startup or in the configuration file.
This changes the default location where ODS files write, and it also changes the default location of the working folder for SAS.
In the HTML destination, you can change the default location by
specifying the PATH= option.
See also the full SAS Notes and Concepts for ODS.
