Beginning in Release 8.2, you can do this with the ODS MARKUP destination. See also the FAQ and concepts for ODS MARKUP.

The following example modifies the PHTML tagset and the CONTENTS_BRANCH event. Using the PUTs we set everything to null.

     define tagset tagsets.rem;
     define event contents_branch;
       start:
         put "";
       finish:
         put "";
       file = CONTENTS;
       end;

     parent=tagsets.phtml;
       end;
   run;

   ods markup file='body.html'  contents='contents.html'
       tagset=tagsets.rem stylesheet='style.css';

   proc print data=sashelp.class contents='new test';
   run;

   proc print data=sashelp.class contents='another test';
   run;

   ods markup close;
