Usage Note 22894: While you are using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ORACLE, the "ERROR: Oracle CONNECT Error: ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name" occurs
This error usually occurs because the PATH statement is set incorrectly.
The PATH statement that is used in the ACCESS procedure, PROC DBLOAD, and PROC SQL PASS-THRU is the Oracle connect string. This string is defined in the TNSNAMES.ORA file.
When you are using PROC ACCESS and PROC DBLOAD, the PATH statement must begin with the at sign: @
Here is an example:
path='@connect_string';
