Usage Note 22316: What does "WARNING: All data set variables are unvalued. No APPEND done" mean?
If you specified the FROM clause on the CREATE statement, you should also specify the FROM clause on the APPEND statement.
The CREATE statement in PROC IML opens a new data set, and the APPEND statement writes to the opened data set. If you submit a CREATE statement with a FROM clause, IML initializes the new data set to include columns in the FROM matrix. If you omit the FROM clause in the APPEND statement, IML does not append the matrix identified in the CREATE statement's FROM clause and the Warning is issued.
