Usage Note 21128: Recommended hot fixes and the corresponding SAS notes that need to be applied for SASĀ® Customer Intelligence 5.1
The following hot fixes are strongly recommended:
- SAS/ACCESS® software for Oracle hot fix
E9OC11
- SAS Web Infrastructure Kit hot fix
913Webinfrakit16
Note 1:
For this hot fix, disregard Usage Note 20856, "UrlReplayBlockerFilter: SECURITY ACCESS VIOLATION message reported in the Managed Server Log for Solutions."
Note 2:
Applying this hot fix might overwrite the contents of the following files by removing the lines:
deployment_group_2=BIP Stored Process Service
Lev1/web/Deployments/RemoteServices/WEB-INF/conf/sas_metadata_source_server.properties
Lev1/web/Deployments/RemoteServices/WEB-INF/conf/sas_metadata_source_server.properties.orig
See SAS Note16066, "Error occurs when you attempt to run a SAS® Marketing Automation stored process."
It might also overwrite any custom logging options defined in your logging_config_svc.xml file.
- The SAS 9.1.3 Hot Fix Bundle E9BX05
- SAS also recommends that you install the SAS/ACCESS® software "Supertanker" hot fixes
E9BD13,
E9BD14,
E9BD15.
When migrating from SAS Marketing Automation 4.4 to SAS Customer Intelligence 5 please be aware of the hot-fix version of the 4.4 system. 4.4 and 5 hot fixes might get out of synchronization and it is possible that fixes from the latest 4.4 hot fix have not yet been included in the latest 5 hot fix.
It is worth checking the defect lists associated with the two hot fixes to make sure that all fixes the customer requires are in the latest version 5 hot fix.
Checking the hot fix contents is not necessary if you are installing a new SAS Customer Intelligence 5.1 system.
