Problem Note 21053: The SAS® Stored Process Server and SAS® Workspace Server load balancing is not distributed across hosts with the
lowest cost algorithm
SAS Workspace Server load-balancing configurations with multiple hosts and
multiple connections per host might use all server connections on a
single host before opening connections to other hosts. The host with
the lowest cost algorithm should be used.
The improper load balance does not cause an error, but it could have a
negative impact on performance. The reason for the poor performance
might not be detected unless the hosts are monitored.
