Problem Note 21139: Installation of the SAS® IT Resource Management 3.1.1 server on z/OS deploys four sets of optional tables to improve system performance
When you install a SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1 server under z/OS, the INTRUCTIONS.HTML file includes commands for deploying metadata for SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1 adapters. Although you have the option during installation to deploy all available adapters, the IBM System Management Facility (SMF) adapter is the primary adapter used by z/OS customers.
As shipped, SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1 deploys the SMF tables in two separate jobs—one job for the recommended tables and another job for optional tables. However, the list of optional tables is very long. Therefore, the second deployment job has been divided into four separate sets of tables to improve system performance..
