Usage Note 21041: ERROR: ORA-03113 End-of-file On Communication Channel Using SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC to Oracle
Accessing an Oracle 10gR2 View, using the Libname ODBC engine, and the Oracle ODBC driver v10.2.0.1, returns the following error:

stringdates=yes preserve_tab_names=yes preserve_col_names=yes
access=readonly;
data work.foobar;
set oradb.V_FOOBAR;

ERROR: CLI describe error: [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-03113:
end-of-file on communication channel
Tracing information showed that the ODBC calls triggered binary
dumps in the backend.
The problem did not occur when the Microsoft ODBC Driver for
Oracle was used.
