Problem Note 20892: Information Map Studio columns appear in red
If you open an adapter map using Information Map Studio (IMS), the
columns may all appear in red.
The problem is that the columns are character columns and have a
character format, but the map classifies the columns as measures.
IMS recognizes that the character format is not compatible with the
classification type of measure.
This has an impact on Enterprise Guide, where the column length is
truncated to 8 characters.
