Problem Note 20729: "Format IPAYPER was not found or could not be loaded" error when read/write involves Grade or Cgrade

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
If you are running running jobs in SAS® Data Integration Studio that read from or write to the Grade or Cgrade tables, you might encounter:

ERROR: The format IPAYER was not found or could not be loaded

The problem occurs because SAS® Human Capital Management 4.4 changed the Pay_Frequency_Cd column to Pay_Grade_Frequency_Cd in the Grade and Cgrade tables. When performing a new installation and configuration, the Grade and Cgrade physical table and table metadata fail to change the Pay_Frequency_Cd column. This problem occurs only in new SAS Human Capital Management 4.4 installs, and does not occur when upgrading from release 4.3 to 4.4.

To correct the metadata for the Grade and Cgrade tables, download the SN020729.zip file and follow the instructions in SN020709_HCM_Grade_sas.doc.
