Incorrect textualization of SQL Implicit Pass-through queries occurs when you combine multiple inner joins with one or more outer joins.
Depending on the database that you are accessing, the incorrect textualization can create different results, as follows:
- If you access the Oracle or DB2 databases, the incorrect textualization can cause WHERE conditions that are contained in the original query to be missing.
- If you access the Teradata database, the incorrect textualization can result in the addition of a WHERE condition (that is not contained in the original query) to the SQL Implicit Pass-through.
